How is New Jersey state government realigning to support redevelopment?
With the release of the draft State Strategic Plan in October, Gov. Christie set forth a vision to make New Jersey the “national leader in coordinated private and public investment which supports sustainable communities that attract and provide strong economic opportunities, preserve our state’s natural resources, and create healthier communities to work, reside and recreate.” In the country’s most developed and densely populated state, which is fast running out of developable land, this vision will necessarily require a fresh set of approaches to fostering redevelopment. During this session, the audience will hear directly from prominent state officials about how agency regulations, decision making and investments are changing to meet this new challenge. Audience Q&A will follow the panel discussion.
