Howard Clark has served as director of community development and Urban Enterprise Zone coordinator in Gloucester City for the past 10 years. He oversees redevelopment activities including administering the Small Cities program in conjunction with the Camden County Improvement Authority and Triad Associates. He works to create affordable housing projects, including dealing with vacant and abandoned housing stock, foreclosures and master plans. He coordinates with state agencies and private-sector developers on the remediation of the 180-acre Southport port industrial zone. He is also engaged in Gloucester City’s effort to modernize its water and sewer infrastructure to abate flooding issues and support economic development. Mr. Clark has more than 40 years of experience in related fields including international transportation, risk management and environmental operations and administration.
